The Rowing Group is small collection of extremely well-informed, lifelong residents of Chicago, who have come together to provide helpful and independent consulting for the rowing and paddling communities. We help cities, towns, clubs, teams and individuals deal with the challenging issues that everyone in these sports will eventually face. We specialize in new program development, boathouse functional design consulting, infrastructure purchase consulting associated with boats, docks and equipment, as well as helping groups handle the day-to-day operations and management of boathouses and program.
The Rowing Group is working with different organizations around Chicago on various projects to further expand the sport of rowing in the area. In addition to managing races, offering programming for rowers, and helping maximize the profit of Chicago boathouses, we are working to establish a 2000-meter rowing course in Lake Calumet that would be of great use to rowing teams across the Midwest and create a new source of revenue for the Chicago Park District.
The Rowing Group has worked previously with the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, the City of Blue Island, the British-American Business Council of Chicago, the University of Wisconsin, Dartmouth University, Boston University, George Washington University, the University of Illinois, the British School of Chicago, Calumet College of St. Joseph, Loyola Academy, Bedford Modern School (UK), Lincoln Park Juniors, New Trier High School, the Lincoln Park Boat Club, the Chicago Training Center and the United States National Team.
